Arriving by private aircraft or helicopter
Courchevel Altiport, at about 2,000 metres above sea level, is one of the most famous mountain airfields in the world. Its short, steep runway welcomes private aircraft and helicopters arriving from Geneva, Chambéry, Lyon and other European airports. Arriving by air saves several hours on the road, but you still need a car and a driver waiting for you when you land.
Our driver meets you as soon as you arrive, loads your luggage and skis and takes you to your chalet or hotel in Courchevel 1850, Moriond, Village or Le Praz. We also drive you back to the altiport for your departure, at the time agreed with your pilot or handling agent.
When the weather changes the plan
Flights to and from the altiport depend on visibility and weather. When low clouds or snowfall keep aircraft on the ground, passengers need a ground transfer quickly. We can take over and drive you to Chambéry, Geneva or Lyon airport to catch your connection, or bring you up to Courchevel from the airport where your aircraft had to land. Tell us about your flight plan in advance and we will keep a vehicle on standby.
