Lake Annecy, the jewel of the French Alps

Lake Annecy is one of the most visited places in the French Alps, famous for its clear turquoise water, its old town with canals and the villages along its shores: Menthon-Saint-Bernard, Talloires, Veyrier-du-Lac, Sévrier and Duingt. It is only 45 minutes from Geneva Airport, which makes it a favourite destination for weekends, honeymoons and summer holidays.

We pick you up at Geneva Airport or Lyon Airport, or at Annecy railway station, and drive you directly to your hotel, villa or guest house around the lake.

Castles around the lake

The Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard, with its turrets overlooking the eastern shore, is the most photographed castle of the lake and is open to visitors during the season. In Annecy itself, the Château d’Annecy houses a museum with a beautiful view over the old town. A little further, the Château de Montrottier stands near the Gorges du Fier, a spectacular canyon walk. On the shores of Lake Geneva, about one hour away, you can also visit the Château de Ripaille in Thonon and the medieval village of Yvoire.

With a driver for the day, you can combine several of these places without worrying about parking, which is often difficult in summer around the lake.

Day tours and evenings out

We offer hourly or full-day hire with a driver: a castle tour, a lunch in Talloires, a visit to the old town of Annecy and a return to your hotel in the evening. We also drive guests to restaurants and events around the lake and bring them back late at night.
